Brain Tumor Network (BTN) values its relationship with patients, families and supporters and respects your privacy and the information you share with us.

We will not sell, trade or share the personal information you share with us with others outside of Brain Tumor Network and its authorized agents. Exceptions to this policy include legal processes, if you approve or request to have your information shared, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect you and to protect our rights as required by law.

Use of Health Information

Personal Health information is provided to Brain Tumor Network using a medical record release form and consent agreement signed by the patient. That health information is then used by Brain Tumor Network for purposes of our operations and administration including, but not limited to: sending the patient’s records to healthcare institutions for expert opinions, consulting with outside laboratories for specimen pathology review, and identifying potential treatment options and clinical trials the patient may wish to consider.

Brain Tumor Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide information and education to patients for them to discuss with their physicians and healthcare teams. Brain Tumor Network strives to maintain the privacy of health information provided to us. We do not sell patient-identifying health information, and we do not disclose patient-identifying information to any third parties for any marketing or fundraising purposes.

We use your provided contact information to connect with you in an effort to provide the information and services you have requested from Brain Tumor Network and to share updates about Brain Tumor Network and its activities.
