About Elisa

Elisa serves as a Neuro-Oncology Nurse Navigator at Brain Tumor Network and brings more than 20 years of nursing experience, primarily in pediatric oncology and palliative and hospice care at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Her background includes work as a stem cell transplant and bedside oncology nurse, and in 2016 she helped develop the oncology nurse navigator role at Riley Children’s Hospital, supporting patients and families through complex treatment decisions.

She has earned national certifications in oncology nurse navigation, pediatric hematology and oncology, and in pediatric hospice and palliative care. She is an End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) trainer, which supports her work in guiding conversations about goals of care and treatment choices.
