About David
David J. Foster is a Jacksonville native and graduate of Brown University with a degree in Biology. As Principal and Founder of Sage Direction, he advises healthcare organizations on patient-centered digital strategy, AI-enabled tools, and improving access to meaningful health data.
For more than two decades, David has led efforts to help patients better understand their health and navigate complex care decisions. His early work integrating patient education into clinical systems informed national patient data access standards.
David brings to Brain Tumor Network a deep commitment to improving the experience of patients and families facing serious health challenges through clearer information, compassionate support, and technology that empowers people to take informed action.
