Expanding Our Impact: BTN Selected to Join American Cancer Society’s National Navigation Roundtable

We are thrilled to announce that Brain Tumor Network has been selected as a new participating member of the National Navigation Roundtable (NNRT), a prestigious coalition led by the American Cancer Society. This selection marks a significant milestone for BTN, highlighting our unwavering commitment to advancing patient navigation and ensuring that primary brain tumor patients have a voice that’s heard on a national level.

The NNRT, established in 2017, is a national coalition comprised of over 200 member organizations, including public health entities, advocacy groups, academia, and government agencies. The primary mission of the NNRT is to eliminate barriers to quality cancer care, reduce disparities in health outcomes, and promote health equity through evidence-based patient navigation. By uniting diverse sectors and leveraging collective expertise, the NNRT seeks to enhance the field of patient navigation, ensuring that all patients, regardless of their background, have access to the highest quality of care throughout the cancer continuum.

BTN is deeply honored to join this collaborative effort, which aligns with our ongoing primary mission to support primary brain tumor patients and their caregivers. As a member of the NNRT, we will leverage our extensive experience and knowledge in patient navigation to advocate for and drive nationwide change, ensuring better access to quality care for patients across the country. This partnership allows us to amplify our impact, working alongside other leading organizations to shape policies and improve services that directly benefit the cancer community.

Our involvement in NNRT empowers us to contribute to the broader conversation on cancer care, advocating for patient-centered care, and for those facing a challenging cancer diagnosis to receive the attention and resources they need. We look forward to actively participating in this vital initiative and continuing to be a beacon of hope and support for brain tumor patients across the nation.

Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting new chapter to expand our impact and empowerment for patients across the country.
