⚒️ What they do: The Brain Tumor Network supports brain tumor patients and their caregivers by providing free, individualized navigation to manage every facet of their journey. Furthermore, they connect patients and caregivers with social support services, like support groups, financial assistance, and advanced care planning. They also offer support to patients interested in participating in a clinical trial and provide comprehensive informational resources for patients and caregivers.
🚀 What they’ve achieved: Since their inception, the Brain Tumor Network has supported more than 2,400 brain tumor patients. For example, in 2022 alone, they served almost 740 families across the US, including 43 pediatric patient families. In the same year, they completed 205 individualized clinical trial searches and helped almost 520 patients seek second opinions regarding diagnosis or treatment. Moreover, 95% of patients said they would recommend the Brain Tumor Network to others.
