Joshua Crowder

Josh serves as a Health Information Assistant at Brain Tumor Network, where he supports medical records workflows, requests, and documentation to help keep patient information organized, accurate, and accessible for the navigation team.

Before joining BTN, he worked in health information management at a regional hospital in Knoxville, where he supervised a medical records department and coordinated release-of-information requests. That work gave him a strong foundation in accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance, along with an appreciation for the person behind each record that informs how he supports patients and families at BTN.
