BTN Celebrates 10 Years of Patient Navigation

Brain Tumor Network commemorates a decade of brain tumor patient and family impact

Rick Sontag speaks at a podium at the 10 year celebration for BTN

In a momentous celebration of science, collaboration, and steadfast patient dedication, Brain Tumor Network and The Sontag Foundation joined forces at the 21st Annual DSA Retreat. Held as a beacon of progress and collaboration in brain cancer research, the week-long event brought together an exceptional community committed to advancing knowledge and support for those facing a brain tumor diagnosis.

The retreat served as a platform to discuss the latest breakthroughs in brain cancer research and technologies, address pertinent challenges within the field, and foster personal and professional leadership development. Central to these discussions was the shared commitment to prioritize the needs of patients, ensuring they remain at the forefront of every conversation and decision.

Among the highlights of the event was the heartfelt recognition of BTN’s ten years of patient impact and support. Our staff received a standing ovation from the scientific community, symbolizing a profound appreciation for their tireless efforts in guiding patients through their journey with brain cancer.

We are immensely grateful to The Sontag Foundation and the DSA community for their support over the years.
