In July 2019, we went on the trip of our lives to Italy. It was amazing. On Sunday, August 25, 2019, we had gone on a beautiful mountain bike ride to some local trails. It was a hard, challenging route. Lee stated that he felt a little weak, but we didn’t think much about it.
We found out he had a brain tumor. Everything happened so fast. That was the start to our glioblastoma story.
Thankfully, I found many good resources for those with GBM, like the Brain Tumor Network. The Brain Tumor Network has helped by checking in with us often, offering resources and advice. There’s a lot of information out there, and it is wonderful to know that there is a network of people available to help clarify the confusing information.
