Delores

It is hard to think of being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The shock set in, and the reality was difficult. I worried with thoughts like, “Will I be here to see my grandkids grow up?” The fear and anxiety had to change. I had to focus on what is now, not on the future. I wrote down what is important now. An example was writing daily in a journal. I included daily what I was thankful for.

After listening to other stories, I counted my blessings. I want others to know that having a positive attitude is important, the Brain Tumor Network is there to help and support you.
